Home of the free, because of the brave.
My fellow Americans at home and overseas, as Memorial Day weekend has become the unofficial start of summer, let’s take time in between baseball games, hot dog and beer runs and extra pieces of apple pie a la mode, to respectfully remember the brave men and women of our army, navy, air force, marines and coast guard, who sacrificed their lives in defense of the freedoms we all to often take for granted.
To our fallen heroes and all those who have served and are currently serving, I offer a humble and heartfelt message of gratitude.
