Huddle up, folks! I’m head prognosticating coach Spyder Darling and in my 50 plus years of watching football it’s hard to say I’ve learned anything more important than: if you want to see a team perform in a strange way they never have before, but necessarily in a good way, put money on them. That said, here’s what I predict is gonna start happening in hysterical stadiums across the United States about half an hour.
Detroit Lions +5 at New York Jets As per my sub-headline, root with your heart, bet with your head and never on the Jets. ‘Nuff said.
Houston Texans +14.5 vs. Kansas City Chiefs The Texans gave the Cowboys quite a scare in the bragging rights to Texas last week. Can they put the fear of Sam Houston into Patrick Mahomes and company this week? I think so.
Chicago Bears +8.5 vs. Philadelphia Eagles The Eagles are already thinking playoffs. Meanthile their results may not be pretty while hosting the Windy City.
Atlanta Falcons +4.5 @ New Orleans Saints Neither team has much going for it which should keep the score close and allow the Falcons to fly home with a win (or at least cover) under their wings.
Jacksonville Jaguars +4.0 vs. Dallas Cowboys As a lifelong Cowboys fan I must…
